Nokia and Apple have decided to end their ongoing litigation. The agreed-upon result is Apple will pay Nokia a one-time fee plus ongoing royalties for the license. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed but Nokia added the result will have a positive impact on cash flow in Q2 for Nokia. “We are very pleased to have Apple join the growing number of Nokia licensees,” said Stephen Elop, president and chief executive officer of Nokia. “This settlement demonstrates Nokia’s industry leading patent portfolio and enables us to focus on further licensing opportunities in the mobile communications market.” Nokia claimed in…
